Tibetans and their supporters are taking advantage of the Summer Olympics being held in China, to bring the world's attention to China's systematic destruction of Tibetan culture. The Chinese Government vilifies the Dalai Lama, while he preaches peace.
Unfortunately governments in the West are more influenced by commercial considerations than morality. Now is the time for leaders of so called democracies to stand up and declare their abhorrence of China's treatment of the Tibetan people and for individuals to register their support of the Tibetan cause.
