Well not so much searching for a voice or even words, more a case of trying to discover a message. More particularly, what am I trying to convey with my photos?
The above photo when posted on My Shared Images attracted a number of complimentary comments. It was taken at London's South Bank Centre, just after a shower of rain. The water remaining on the table tops looks like pools of mercury catching the setting sun's raise.
Another picture liked by visitors to the blog, also makes use of light. But I find the photograph unsatisfactory, not one I want to be associated with - far too sentimental, gushy.
So what am I trying to say? Is there a need to convey a message, is the image enough?
