YesBut is still grumpy and farting

Back in September I decided to take a more positive outlook on live. No more complaining and making a general nuisance of myself in supermarkets - at the time my main form of amusement was sabotaging supermarket checkout queues using various reuses, ( my favourite was using a pen to disfigure barcodes, that can really cause confusion). Well I turned over a new leaf, decided to be kind and considerate.

Well I couldn’t change both my modus operandi and image while having a blog called “Grumpy & Farting”. So I decided to close it down and start afresh on this site.

But do you know what, despite my best efforts I’m still as grumpy as ever. As for the farting - well let’s not discuss that, suffice to say yellow split peas can cause sustained and thunder clapping after affects. At least I had an outlet for my frustrations through the blog, but now I sit scowling at the computer screen. The only relief I get is reading the captions on YesBut’s Images. Aren’t you just amazed by the power of some peoples imagination - it would be unfair to single out individuals, but there are some fabulous Captionists out there.

But reading the captions can only provide relief if you have access to the internet. Yesterday I couldn’t log on. Kept getting an Error 0721 message -”The remote computer did not respond”. Phoned up the Broadband provider's help desk to be told their computer was “down”. Not only didn’t I have access to the internet, but to add insult to injury they charged me a premium rate, 50p ($1) per minute to tell me its their fault. They charge you to listen for five minutes to pre-recorded messages on how much they value your custom, and how thoroughly wonderful they are, before you even get to speak to some spotty faced computer oik, who takes another five minutes to say its their fault - all the time my telephone bill is soaring. Well that’s it no more Mr Nice Guy, from now on its YesBut I’m grumpy - so what, want to make something of it?

No I'm not resurrecting the old blog, but expect to see more ATTITUDE on this site.
